Welcome to the 25th Hour Podcast – where successful business owners talk about the magic of creating a 25th hour every day! We've all been there - your calendar is in great shape. Your to-do list is done. You are in the zone . . . All your balls in the air are being easily juggled. Then....something changes, and suddenly chaos reigns! This podcast will help you learn to up-level your time management strategies so you can get back in control of your day – and make an extra hour, your 25th hour, a reality - every day.

Today’s guest is Danielle Hayden. Danielle is a reformed corporate CFO (chief financial officer) and CPA on a mission to help rule-breaking female entrepreneurs understand their numbers so they can gain the confidence needed to create sustainable profits. In this interview, we discuss how to run a successful business AND have a life, why you should stop doing business tasks you don’t love, and what it means to pivot to success.

Time Management Strategies for Success:

  • Time Blocking - "If I hold steady to my time blocks, I'm allowing people to get the best of me by letting them book in the block that I'm going to be most beneficial to them."
  • Delegate - "Choosing to delegate allowed me to step into the CEO role. And by doing that, I was able to start marketing my business again, evaluate what I like and what I don't like, and decide what I'm going to delegate."

Here’s how Danielle likes to spend her 25th Hour:

  • White Space - "I'm going consider it whitespace - time that's not blocked in my calendar - and choose an activity that meets my energy that day. Usually, it's walking my dog or going for a bike ride, but sometimes I’ll just sit on my front porch and read a book."
